I am Pan. My work is influenced by my interest in Scandinavian and Eastern pattern design, a sense of the fantastical and a deep rooted love of mark making. I am fascinated and inspired by classical literature and folklore. I try to combine all of these elements in my illustrations, experimenting along the way with jewellery, stationery and textile design to create quirky homeware products and accessories from my designs.

I am the administrator and co-founder of Derbyshire's environmentally sound open access printmaking community: Green Door Printmaking Studio. I co-run this workshop with my mother and the founder, Anna Johnson, and am primarily the screen printing tutor, I also take care of the general day-to-day managerial duties of the studio environment. The screen printing studio is my happy place and (schedule permitting) I can usually be found at the press churning out prints!
